Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are undeniably a power couple in the music world, but according to Shelton, his wife is just as impressive in the kitchen as she is on stage.
While appearing on the Country Heat podcast, the “Texas” singer couldn’t help but brag about his wife. He especially lit up when talking about her cooking skills, which is something fans might not know much about.
He mentioned that Stefani is usually the one who cooks at home and even went on to talk about some of her specialties.
“Man, she’s really good at anything Italian,” Shelton said.

But there’s one dish that stands out above the rest. Shelton shared what his favorite meal is that Stefani makes for him.
“But my favorite is probably lasagna,” he said. “That’s one of those things.. It takes her all day, like, it’s an all-day thing, you know? And I would eat that for the rest of my life.”
Apparently, lasagna isn’t the only thing Stefani can make from scratch, though. Shelton went on to say that she’s also quite the chef when it comes to making pizza.
“She makes homemade pizza,” he says. “Makes the dough, the dough rises, separates it, like, in the pizza oven. She really does this stuff for real.”
Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Release A Brand New Song Together
When Shelton and Stefani aren’t spending time together at their Oklahoma home, they often team up in the studio.
Most recently, they released their new duet “Hangin’ On,” which appears on Shelton’s latest album For Recreational Use Only.
The song marks the sixth duet that Shelton and Stefani have recorded together over the years. And even though they’re happily married in real life, “Hangin’ On” is actually a breakup song, which is something Stefani isn’t necessarily keen on recording.
“She’s so funny because she’s weird about singing a song that’s like, she can’t find herself in the story or lyric or whatever,” Shelton said during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Friends.
“It’s a breakup song, but it’s just so fun to sing with her. I didn’t even want to record the song if she wasn’t gonna sing it with me.”
